Whats makes us who we are

RFR Builders, Inc. is a General Contractor founded in 1999 by partners Raúl Fortuño-Ruiz and William Preston-Maldonado. It evolved from parent firm RFR Construction, created in 1992 by Raúl Fortuño-Ruiz.

Besides housing, both partners have been involved through previous experience in the construction of institutional , commercial and industrial projects such as Elderly Housing, Shopping Centers, Industrial and Pharmaceutical facilities, High End Houses, Office Buildings (Capital Center II) and miscellaneous general construction that comprises the range of construction related activities that are part of major general contracting.

We work to make reality projects within a tight budget. Our target is finishing on schedule , on budget and with a quality product that can be turned over with ease to make projects trusted to us a success.

RFR works on the principle that we must get repeat projects from our Clients. It has been our experience that most of our clients have trusted several projects to our team of professional builders.

Engineer Raúl Fortuño

Raúl Fortuño graduated as a Civil Engineer from the UPR Mayagüez Campus (UPRM). He is a Licensed Civil Engineer and a Licensed Surveyor. He is also a bona fide member of the CIAPR (Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de Puerto Rico).

Engineer William Preston

William Preston graduated as a Civil Engineer from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). He is a Licensed Civil Engineer. He is also a bona fide member of the CIAPR (Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de Puerto Rico).
